Nordic Soccer serves players ages 2 and up. Our Development Program starts at age 2 with parent-participation classes. After-School programs serve TK through 5th grade. Club teams are organized by age group for eligible players. Viking League has TK-K, 1st-2nd, and 3rd-5th grade divisions.

Yes. Toddler classes for ages 2 to 4 are part of our Development Program. They run Saturday mornings at Valley Village Park, Sunday mornings at Encino Park, and Tuesday afternoons at Louis Armstrong Middle School in Sherman Oaks. Current times and openings are on the Development Program page.

After-school programs run on campus at 20+ participating schools across the San Fernando Valley. Development classes run at Valley Village Park, Tarzana Recreation Center, Encino Park, and Louis Armstrong Middle School in Sherman Oaks. Club teams practice at Louis Armstrong Middle School and play home games at Van Nuys Middle School.

After-School programs are from $159 per 8-session pack (1x/week, about $20 per session). Development monthly memberships start at $99/month, with Premium at $149, Premium Plus at $175, and 4x/Week (up to 4 selected sessions per week) at $199. Club games are a $249 Fall 2026 10-game package (U6 to U10), and a monthly membership for practices is optional. The Viking League is $159 for an 8-week Sunday season starting January 2027, as an add-on for players already enrolled in After-School, a Development membership, or Club, and registration is open now. Most parent-paid After-School packs and the Viking League add a 3% card processing fee at checkout. Camp pricing is shown on the camps page when registration is open.

Viking League is Nordic Soccer's Sunday game day league for TK through 5th grade, with TK-K, 1st-2nd, and 3rd-5th grade divisions. It costs $159 for an 8-week Sunday season starting January 2027, plus a 3% card processing fee at checkout. Viking League is an add-on for players already enrolled in another active Nordic Soccer program: After-School, a Development membership, or Club. Checkout confirms each player's current enrollment.

Your membership is billed when you sign up, then monthly on the 1st. Join after the 7th and your first charge is prorated for the days left in that month. Need to start in a later month? Choose your start month at signup and billing begins on the 1st of that month.

Yes. If your automatic monthly plan includes an after-school program and that program pauses for winter break, spring break, or another school break, you may switch that after-school class to any other available Nordic Soccer class of your choice during the break. Contact us so we can update your schedule.

U6-U7 Club is Club soccer for our youngest players who have been playing with Nordic Soccer for 2 or more years and have been recommended by their coaches. It is not open to all players. U6-U7 Club teams play low-pressure games against other clubs, giving players a taste of real match competition while still focusing on development and fun. The Fall 2026 10-game package is $249 and covers all 10 games. There is no separate per-game fee. A monthly membership for practices is optional (Premium, Premium Plus, or 4x/Week), and you can buy the games without one.

Club teams use school-year age groups: players born between August 1 and July 31 of the following year play together. For 2026-27, for example, U9 players were born between August 1, 2017 and July 31, 2018. Placement uses that age group plus a free, low-pressure player evaluation. Your child trains with the age group, our coaches assess, and you get an honest recommendation within the week. U6-U7 Club is the first step for our youngest competitive players.

Yes. Complete our free trial request form. No account or login is required. Our team will confirm availability with you. Trials are free and are held only at current public Development sessions. We do not hold trials in school after-school classes.

Players should wear comfortable athletic clothing, shin guards, and soccer cleats (or sneakers for younger players). Bring a water bottle. We provide all other equipment including balls, cones, and pinnies.

Nordic Soccer apparel is not required for after-school programs. Players in programs outside after-school are required to wear Nordic Soccer apparel. You can complete registration without purchasing or selecting apparel.

Nordic Soccer batches shop purchases. Your purchase does not trigger an immediate supplier order. We place the supplier order once the required minimum order threshold is reached. As soon as your items arrive, we deliver them to your family's practice location.

Nordic Soccer operates after-school soccer programs on campus at participating schools across the San Fernando Valley. We are an independent youth sports provider. Your child must be enrolled at the participating school to join the program at that location.

For after-school programs, the steps depend on the school. At most campuses our coaches meet students after dismissal and bring them to the field, and parents pick up at the field when the session ends. Each school's page lists its exact pickup steps. Add any other adults who may pick up your child in your Parent Portal profile. For Development classes and Club, parents drop off and pick up at the field.

Many kids are nervous at their first session, and that is completely normal. Sessions start with a ball warm-up and simple games, so every child can join in at their own pace. Let us know before the first class and we will tell the coach. A free trial at a public Development session is a low-pressure way to try it first.

LA afternoons get hot. We run scheduled water breaks, move to shade, and follow hot-day hydration rules and air-quality cutoffs. Please send two full water bottles on soccer days. If heat or air quality makes it unsafe, we will modify or cancel the session and let parents know.

Safety is our priority. If conditions are unsafe, we will cancel or modify the class and notify parents via email/text. Make-up classes are scheduled when possible.

Yes, in most cases players can join mid-season with prorated pricing. Contact us to check availability for the specific program you're interested in.

Yes. Nordic Camps are full days of coaching during school breaks for ages 5 to 11, mixing field training, games, and indoor activities. We announce camp dates on the Camps page when registration opens. To hear first, join the camps list through our contact form.

Yes. A Nordic coach brings the goals, balls, cones, and pinnies and runs the games at a park you pick or at your location. Parties are $199 for 1.5 hours, $264 for 2 hours, or $329 for 2.5 hours, with one coach for up to 15 kids. Add a second coach for up to 30 kids. Book and pay online on our Birthday Parties page at least 7 days ahead.
