Who we are and what these terms cover

Nordic Soccer runs youth soccer programs in Los Angeles. Nordic Soccer is operated by Nordic American Athletics, doing business as Nordic Soccer, a California business. These terms apply to nordicsoccer.com, the Parent Portal, and registration for any of our programs. By creating an account or registering a child, you agree to them.

Your account

• Accounts are created by parents and guardians, never by children.
• Keep your registration information accurate, especially medical notes and emergency contacts. Our coaches rely on them.
• You sign in through an email link or Google sign-in. Keep access to your email account secure; anyone with your inbox can access your portal account.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Registration and payment

All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

• After-school programs are sold as 8-session packs with one charge per pack. There is no auto-renew; you choose when to re-enroll.
• Development and Club memberships are monthly subscriptions. Your card is charged on the same date each month.
• Monthly memberships auto-freeze in July for summer break. Billing restarts automatically in August unless you cancel.
• Joining mid-season is welcome, and we prorate case by case. Reach out and we will sort it.

Cancellations and refunds

This mirrors the policy published on our memberships page:

• Monthly memberships (Development and Club) can be cancelled anytime with 30 days notice. Development tiers require a minimum of two monthly billings before cancellation takes effect.
• After-school packs have no ongoing commitment. Each pack is a fresh enrollment. Packs are not refunded, and missed sessions are not refunded or credited.
• Serious injury: the pack or membership is paused until your child is cleared to return, and a program credit is issued for the unused time.
• If we cancel a session (weather, field closure), we schedule a makeup or add bonus time in the following weeks. You never lose a paid session.

If something does not feel right with a charge, contact us and we will make it right. We handle edge cases person to person, not with fine print.

Liability and the signed waiver

Before a child participates, a parent or guardian e-signs our Comprehensive Waiver and Release of Liability. That signed waiver, not this page, governs assumption of risk, release of liability, medical authorization, and related matters. These terms do not replace or modify it. Read it carefully when you register; a copy of what you signed is kept with your registration.

Code of conduct

• Players, parents, and spectators treat coaches, referees, school staff, and other families with respect. Sidelines stay positive.
• Follow the rules of the school campus or facility where sessions run.
• Bullying, harassment, or unsafe behavior is not tolerated. We may remove a participant for serious or repeated violations, as described in the signed waiver.

Photos and video

During registration you make a photo and video consent choice for each child. We honor that choice. Photos and videos of your child are only used according to the consent you have on file, which you can review in your portal account or change by emailing us.

Our website and content

The content on nordicsoccer.com (text, logos, images, curriculum materials) belongs to Nordic Soccer. Use the site normally as a parent or visitor; do not scrape it, misuse other families' information, or attempt to access accounts that are not yours.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date at the top and let account holders know by email. Continued use of the site and programs after a change means you accept the updated terms.
