Kids Soccer Classes in Valley Glen

Valley Glen is a residential neighborhood in the central San Fernando Valley, bordered by Valley Village, Van Nuys, and North Hollywood. Its central location gives families excellent access to Nordic Soccer's program network, with multiple campuses and training facilities within a short drive.

The closest Nordic Soccer locations to Valley Glen are Colfax Charter Elementary in Valley Village and the Development Program at Valley Village Park, both located just east of the neighborhood. Chandler Elementary in Sherman Oaks is also nearby, accessible via Burbank Boulevard or the 170 freeway. These after-school classes are for students enrolled at each school.

Valley Glen families are particularly well-served by the Development Program at Valley Village Park, which sits on the neighborhood's eastern border. This program is ideal for younger children ages 2 to 5 who are not yet in the school system, as well as school-age players who want additional training beyond the after-school program. Classes run on Saturday mornings for ages 2 to 6.

Club teams practice Tuesdays and Thursdays at Louis Armstrong Middle School in Sherman Oaks and play Sunday games at Van Nuys Middle School, which is directly accessible from Valley Glen via Van Nuys Boulevard or Victory Boulevard. The competitive pathway is a natural next step for Valley Glen players who develop their skills through the after-school and Development programs.

The Viking Championship League, Nordic Soccer's Sunday league, offers divisions for TK-K, 1st-2nd grade, and 3rd-5th grade and structured game day competition as an add-on for players already enrolled in After-School, a Development membership, or Club. Its next season starts January 2027.

If you live in the 91401 or 91405 zip codes, Valley Glen puts you within 10 minutes of every Nordic Soccer program.
